Vancouver House Painters want you, our valued customer, to get the best possible painting done, at the best possible price. By working with us, we will not only save you time and money, but, we hope to offer you "peace of mind" as well.

Here are some tips to reduce your costs, and "speed up" your painting experience:

1. If possible, make sure the areas we are painting are empty of furnishings. This will allow us to paint the area properly, without having to spend time moving and covering furniture, etc...

"Time is money," as they say, and the more time you save us, the more money you save. Of course, if you would like us to do this, we are happy to do so.

2. If you cannot remove the furnishings, but, are able to move them within the room yourself, place all large items in the center of the room prior to our arrival. Cover all of the furniture or other items with "poly" (plastic sheets) and, seal everything off with masking tape. To save even more, cover all of your flooring with "poly" sheets as well. "Prepping" the area(s) to be painted takes most of the time and labour, so doing even this much will save you $$$$. Again, if you need us to do this for you, it is not a problem.

3. If you are painting your entire home, and you wish for it to be done all at once, it is highly advisable to either go on vacation or stay elsewhere until the painting is complete; this is particularly true if we are to paint or stair staircases. This will allow us to properly "seal everything up" prior to painting, which protects your belongings and speeds up our clean-up at the very end. And, of course, this saves you money! Again, if everything is sealed and protected, the home will be largely "unusable" or "unlivable" for a few days. And, if we are spraying, you really cannot be in the home in any case.

Extra repairs like major drywall issues are billed at $45.00 per hour, and are billed on an "actual time" basis.
